Personalized Hybrid Education for Homeschool Families
Serving students in Kindergarten through 6th grade through small-group instruction, hands-on learning, and a collaborative partnership with parents.

Growing Minds. Building Character.
Partnering with Families.
Our Story
We provide strong academic instruction in a small-class setting, combined with hands-on learning and meaningful enrichment experiences that support the whole child.
In our early years program (K–2), we blend solid academic foundations with a developmentally appropriate, play-based approach that fosters curiosity and a love for learning. As students grow, they engage in purposeful enrichment— including STEM, art, and practical life skills—within a warm, supportive environment where confidence, character, and friendships thrive.

Our Founder
Founded by Monica Gailey, a dedicated educator with over 20 years of experience in early childhood education and a mother of seven, Mustard Seed Academy was created out of a desire to offer families a more personalized, flexible, and nurturing educational experience.
For the past two years, Monica has been homeschooling her three youngest
children, where she discovered a deep appreciation for the meaningful, customized learning environment that can be created when education is tailored to each child. She has especially loved using a wholesome, faith-based curriculum that supports both strong academics and character development. Through this experience, she recognized a growing need to bridge the gap between early childhood education and traditional school settings.
Monica continues to be actively involved in the field as the current owner and director of a well-established childcare center in Clearfield, Utah. She remains hands-on in her work with children, families, and educators, while also serving on boards and subcommittees where she advocates for high-quality early childhood education and improved outcomes for children in the community.

Learning Beyond the Classroom
At Mustard Seed Academy, education doesn’t stop at the classroom door. Our mini farm gives students the opportunity to connect with nature, care for animals, and experience hands-on learning that builds confidence and curiosity.

We’d Love to Meet Your Family
Come see our classrooms, meet our educators, and discover how Mustard Seed Academy helps every child grow academically, spiritually, and personally.
